Why are you doing this contest?
As a family business of 17 years, we understand how important it is to celebrate our own family through portraiture and we want to encourage other families to do the same.
How many people win?
We receive thousands of entries and select a small percentage as winners.
What’s included in my prize?
An immersive, guided storybook experience for your child in the magical fairy garden, a fairy dress and flower crown or overalls to wear during the experience, and a $200 portrait credit (which fully covers a 10” fine art heirloom portrait)
Is there any additional cost to me?
There is no obligation or pressure to purchase anything beyond your prize, however, most people do fall in love with our work and wish to purchase more! We gift you the FULL magical experience plus a $200 credit. However, most people prefer something larger as this has a more powerful impact. And everyone wants more than one! If this is true for you, you can apply your $200 credit toward a larger Fine Art Print, Canvas, or our Storybook Album (what everyone wants!) To give you an idea, some clients spend $200 and some spend over $5000, most families are somewhere in the middle. Portrait packages are custom crafted for each family, with lovely options for every budget, as well as comfortable payment plans.
What if my children are in school and our work schedules conflict with your appointment times?
Most of our clients take a few hours (or more) out of work and school because this is such a special experience. They spend quality time together during the session and then have a family meal or special treat after they leave the studio. Making a family day of the experience brings back beautiful memories as the years go by every time you look at your portrait.
I entered for my daughter/son/friend/etc. Can I give the prize to them?
Prizes are non-transferable. If you think someone else would like to win this experience, please be sure to tell them about the contest so they can enter for themselves!
Do you have a price list? How much are additional portraits? Can I just buy digital files?
We don't have a price list to send out since all of our portraits are unique to each client. We price everything during your viewing and selection appointment because pricing varies depending upon the finish, size, and quantity of what you select and every person wants something different. We offer a range of portraits from large scale canvas portraits at $5,000 to more modest sizes in photographic finishes beginning at $300. Our artwork is definitely an investment. It's created like original art and priced like original art and it's certainly not within the reach of every budget. However, there is never any obligation to purchase anything. We have families that come just for the experience and that's part of the beauty of what we do. We are not a digital only studio, however, we do have the ability to discuss the option of a matching digital of any purchased portrait. We also offer financing options, some with no interest options, to help clients be able to get what they love most.
We are expecting or just had a new addition to our family, can they be photographed?
We're super excited for you and are looking forward to meeting your new family member! We photograph children as young as 6 months old, we do however ask that they be able to sit up, if even just for a few seconds. If you are currently expecting and are a winner, please call the studio and we can schedule an appointment when the baby is 6 months old. The ideal age for the experiences is 3+ years.
